Whoever recites Umm al-Kitab i. The first rak’ah’s recital would be longer than the second. Sometimes he would recite some verses. I said prayer by the side of my father and placed my hands between my knees. The act that puts on into the inviolable state of prayer is takbeer. Place your hands on your knees.
